Evolve Pistol 2 — Red Dot (RDS) is an intermediate/advanced optic course that introduces students to the core functions and practical applications of pistol-mounted red dot sights while reinforcing solid fundamentals for experienced shooters. Built on the EP1RDS curriculum, this class blends new tactics and equipment-driven techniques so you can confidently index, acquire, and engage through a reflex optic under realistic training conditions. Come EVOLVE with us—train the skills you’ll need to fight and win with an RDS-equipped pistol.
The day focuses on practical, scenario-driven drills that translate to defensive and carry use: dot acquisition and indexing, speed-accuracy integration, co-witness and mounting considerations, battery and zero management, and common malfunction responses. Instruction emphasizes sighted and transitional shooting while keeping fundamentals—grip, trigger control, and sight picture—at the center of every exercise.
Take control of you and your performance.
By the end of this course, you’ll have a stronger mechanical intelligence behind the gun and a clearer grasp of how to blend performance, fundamentals, and a true defensive mindset. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter sharpening your edge or a newer student ready to build real capability, EP2RDS meets you where you are and pushes you forward.
This is the course that gets you and your rifle working as a single, capable unit.
