Evolve Pistol & Rifle: Defensive Context and Application course is a two-day advanced training experience designed for shooters who already possess a strong command of firearm fundamentals. This program exposes students to the realities of responding to active threats while developing cognitive speed, decision-making under pressure, and understanding how the body and mind perform during defensive encounters.
Expanding beyond pistol work, this course now includes rifle applications and transitional techniques, emphasizing how to fluidly move between platforms while maintaining control, spatial awareness, and tactical efficiency. Students will engage in scenario-driven drills that test performance, mindset, and adaptability in real-world conditions.
Graduates will leave with sharpened skills in both pistol and rifle manipulation, improved confidence under stress, and a solid grasp of after-action and trauma-response considerations.
The Evolve Pistol: Defensive Context and Application is a two-day advanced defensive firearms course designed for experienced shooters. In addition to the original pistol-focused curriculum—cognitive processing, human response time, force application, trauma physiology, and after-action procedures—this course now integrates rifle training. Students will explore pistol and rifle applications in the same defensive context, learn proper transition techniques between platforms, and study spatial considerations that affect movement, cover, and engagement decisions.
This program is not for new gun owners. It is intended for registrants with high-level firearms manipulation and fundamentals who seek to refine decision-making and performance under realistic stress and threat conditions.
